Foreign Currency Order Terms and Conditions
Use of the Service: This website (https://www.foreigncurrency.td.com) (the "Website") is a digital marketplace in which TD Bank, N.A. ("TD Bank") offers the service (the "Service") to order foreign currency which will then be delivered to a TD Bank location. The Service is only available to individuals accessing the Service from the United States. The Service may only be used to order foreign currency for personal or business travel and not for speculative, investment or any other purposes. By ordering foreign currency from us, you confirm that you have read and understood the Terms & Conditions, and agree to be bound by them and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You also agree that you have read and agree to the Terms of Use, Privacy and Security policies found at www.td.com.
Order Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person or per order.
Order acceptance: If you accept our exchange rate by submitting your order and we have not rejected your order, you will have entered into a final and binding transaction at the rate you accepted. TD Bank is under no obligation to accept your order and may in its sole discretion reject such order.
Payment for your order: To use the Service, you must purchase the foreign currency using a debit card issued by a US Bank that is registered to the same mailing address that you have entered. Your transaction amount will be debited from the account associated with your debit card shortly after you place your order but before your foreign currency order is shipped.
Transaction limits: If any of the following transaction limits are reached from transactions executed either in a TD Bank Store, online, or combination of both, you will not be able to complete the transaction.
Online limits are $1,500 USD per transaction, $1,500 USD per 24 hours, and $4,500 USD per month. At a minimum, online orders must total $250 USD per transaction and $25 USD per currency. Limits and minimums are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
Limits are not applicable for TD Bank personal and business account holder transactions that take place within a TD Bank location.
You should also be aware of the daily limits associated with your debit card which are separate and apart from the transactional limits referenced above.
Confirmation of transaction: Upon order acceptance of a purchase order on the TD Foreign Exchange Online Store, TD Bank will send you an email to the email address you provided above confirming the relevant details of the items purchased and the applicable purchase price and related charges. Please note that this email will come from NoReply@mail.foreigncurrency.td.com and you should adjust any spam filter you may be using to make sure you can receive emails from this address. The transaction details contained in these confirming emails will be taken as correct. All online orders must be shipped to a TD Bank location, you will be contacted twice at the email address provided upon purchase; once when your order is confirmed and again when your order is fulfilled pending delivery.
Cancellation of your order: You may not cancel an order after you have clicked on the confirm order button on the final checkout page. After clicking the confirm button, all sales are final. If you feel you no longer need your currency after you receive your order, please visit any TD Bank location and TD may buy your foreign currency. TD Bank may buy your currency using the buy rate at the time the buy transaction is processed, which will be different from the rate of your original transaction. Please note that buy transactions are subject to a transaction fee. If we are unable to complete the transaction for any reason, such as when our transaction limits are exceeded or otherwise, your order will be denied.
Delivery of orders to TD Bank Branch locations: All foreign currency orders must be delivered to a full service TD Bank Store location for pickup. Deliveries can only be made in the United States. Deliveries are not made on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
At the time of pick-up, you must produce the same Government ID that was used to make the purchase. The name on the debit card used to make the purchase must match that of the identification document(s) provided.
TD Bank will hold a foreign currency package for seven days, after which the package will be returned and TD Bank will process a buy transaction. Please note that the exchange rate for TD Bank to buy your foreign currency will differ from the rate of your original transaction and will be credited to the debit card used to purchase the foreign currency. In addition, a transaction fee will be assessed and deducted from your credit.
Hours: Pick up is subject to the hours of operation of the TD Bank Store location where you have chosen to pick up your order.
Changes to or removal of the Service: You understand that we may add, remove or change any part or feature of the TD Bank Foreign Exchange Online Store, the information services or the Website at any time, without giving notice to you. In which case, these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply in respect to your future access. TD Bank will not be liable for any losses or inconvenience that result from changes to or removal of the Service.
Limiting our liability: We will use reasonable care and skill in providing the Service; however, we shall not be liable to you for the following:
- If we are unable to perform any of our obligations to you due to failure of any technical systems or for any other reasons beyond our reasonable control including but not limited to war, terrorism, government action, natural disaster, and industrial dispute;

- For any indirect, or consequential losses, claims or damages (including without limitation loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts or loss of opportunity) suffered by you or incurred from your use of this Website or the Service however caused.
Unless otherwise required by law or as set out in the Agreement, we will not be liable to you in respect of any losses you or any third party may suffer in connection with your use of the Service, except where such losses are due to a breach by us of this Agreement or due to our negligence. Our maximum liability to you in respect of each use of Service for the purchase of foreign currency shall be to refund the purchase price of that order. If any provisions of these terms including these disclaimers and limitations shall be unlawful or unenforceable then such provisions shall fall away and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms.

Important information about exchange rates: The rate at which TD Bank buys or sells foreign currency with a client is determined by several factors including foreign currency markets, the amount of the transaction, and the currency involved. TD Bank uses current market rates and applies a spread to cover the costs (including the risks associated with trading currencies) and earn revenue.

Exchange rates offered by other dealers, or shown at other sources (including online sources) may be different from our rates. The exchange rate you are offered may be different from and the rate paid by us to acquire the underlying currency.
We provide all-in pricing for exchange rates. Our rates may include costs, charges, or other mark ups as determined by us in our sole discretion.
Any and all liability relating to this information and the rates provided herein is disclaimed, including without limitation, any liability if our rates are different from rates offered or reported by third parties, or offered by us at a different time, at a different location, for a different transaction amount, or involving a different payment media (including but not limited to banknotes, checks and wire transfers).
